Simply put, Safari was born out of a love for animals. After visiting the Munich Zoo in 1979, Bernard and Rosemarie Rubel, the founders of Safari Ltd., began the conversion of an endangered species card game from German into English. From this one card game they’ve increased into hundreds and hundreds of items. They work as a team to continue to devise and deliver value and delight to customers around the world. Safari draws their creative material from the land before time, the mysteries of science and the heart of the jungle…weaving it with imagination into playthings that enrich children and adults alike.
